Nebraska, the Good Life

The theme for our Quilt Show Challenge was "Nebraska, the Good Life." Barb K designed this exceptional beauty with photo transferred panels, of a young'un in the corn. It's not small, either. What a beauty! Yes, she received a First Place Ribbon for this one. It's even more striking in person.

  1. Gorgeous! I have only done one portrait one of my trio in St. Louis and then handstitched all the way around the border. I love mine, but it pales in comparison to that. That is one BEAUTIFUL quilt. Thank you so much for sharing it!

  2. Sewing with Nancy just did a series on this type of quilt. I think I could do the picture part but the frame would be lots of work for me. Beautiful.

  3. Oh that quilt is wonderful!! What a lovely idea. It really reminds me of my childhood, standing amid the rows of high corn. It seemed like a secret world.
